Behind the Repairs
From the Owner and Operator of Instru-Mend, Kyle Stolz:

Instru-Mend was a long "thought of" idea brought to life for the Covid Pandemic in 2020. While stores and repair shops were closed, the music went on. And while the music went on, so did wear and tear on musical instruments. With nowhere to go for repairs, I went to my customers homes to fix on the spot or pick up and drop off instruments while being compliant to the Covid regulations. It was just me, a set of tools and my 07 Jeep Liberty.

Moving forward to today, the idea of Instru-Mend has turned into an actual business. I bought a Ram ProMaster Van in North Carolina (due to country wide supply shortages) and drove it back to California to build my mobile repair shop in the back. There have been years of research, trials, errors and an extensive background in shop-less repairs to come up with this idea and make it work for a business.

I'd like to Thank my extensive black book of LONG TIME customers for the support and encouragement over the years, and I look forward to meeting my new and future customers soon. My favorite part of repairing instruments for the musical community is to develop relationships with all of my clients that will result in trust and friendships.

With a Van, some tools, years of experience and a little elbow grease I want nothing more than to guarantee satisfaction, and to revolutionize the repair industry as we see it. Thank You and happy playing!
